When you download a file with safari, there is that download box that always pops up with the current downloads. There is a way that when the download has completed to have the download disappear, but the box remains. Is there any way to keep this box hidden forever? I really dont like that dang box.

Anthony

edit: I accidentally posted this in the OSX forum and on the apps forum. Sorry about that. Kinda new around here.

You can't get rid of the box entirely, but you CAN make it stay in the background by option-clicking a download link (you have to summon it first, then background it, in order for this to work).

hmm, I guess this will work.

Im just somewhat used to having plugins for Firefox to put them in the bottom bar.

Thanks for the fast response,
Anthony
