Is there an update plist or something to hide the sliding text at the bottom on iPhone 4 on 4.1? I've tried a few and they don't seem to be working.

ssh or ifile to...

System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj

and edit "SpringBoard.strings"

for the slide to unlock look for <key>AWAY_LOCK_LABEL</key> and remove whatever is in the quotes and just do the same for the other things you wanna remove

No problem, I forgot to mention that you remove whatever is in the quotes after the = sign but I'm sure you figured it out.
Sorry to bring this back up, I remove it from that string and its still popping up.

Anyone?

I tried making a winterboard theme with all the strings blank and its still showing (slide to view, slide to cancel).

for bitesms you actually have to go into the bitesms folder and edit the .plist there.

i dont have my iphone right now so can't give you the actual location but look around ifile for bitesms file and edit the plist
