Other High accuracy GPS in new iphone?

Any indication yet that the new iPhone might be using the super high accuracy
BCM47755 GPS chip?

Looks very useful, particularly in cities with more multipath problems.

Xiaomi has already put this in one of their phones.

Doubt it as Apple lags about 2 years behind in adoption of new Broadcom products.

Broadcom launched BCM4774 in 2015 with Galileo support. Apple waited until iPhone 8 to include it.

Ouch. That sucks to know. I guess we'll find out pretty soon. Rocking an iphone 6s right now which is getting pretty laggy. Waiting to see how much better iOS12 feels and will decide when I want to upgrade to the new iphone 9/etc.

No, it seems the XS uses the BCM4377, a custom Broadcom chip.

You can see BCM4359 showing underneath so it appears BCM4377 is just a metal layer update and is unlikely to contain many new features.
