THANK YOU for the detailed post above. Any new updates regarding the Realtek USB based gigabit adaptor / driver combo for Monterey ?

In the market for a USB Gigabit Ethernet adaptor to hook to my 2021 14" MacBook Pro where I will be doing quite a bit of data transfer back and forth from my NAS. Definitely would prefer a solution that that doesn't overload the CPU.
