I am getting horrible ping rates in 10.10.3 when on wireless. They are well above 100 and sometimes reach 500. Why is this a problem? Because I am using my computer as a soft phone for work and when it gets above 100 I have voice issues. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone have any fixes? I also have no issues when I am connected via cat5e

Also I have a late 2013 retina 13"

Does this happen on any wireless network or just one? Running traceroute and checking the latency for each hop would be a good way to pinpoint the bottleneck.

If it only happens on one network, are other wireless devices affected too or just your MBP? If others are affected, you could try setting the router to use the 5 GHz band, which is usually less crowded.

If it only happens on your computer and/or on any network, try disabling Bluetooth. Bluetooth can interfere with the wireless as they use the same 2.4 GHz band.
