Just turned on my rMBP and the Left fan started making a super high-pitched sound, tried resetting the PRAM and stuff but nothing worked and no Apple appointment available at any of the 3 closest Apple stores until Saturday.
Finally I used the MIstats app and turned up the speed on the left fan to the max, the pitch went higher and then all of a sudden stopped.
My guess is, some sort of dirt Got stuck in the fan? Anyone experience this before? Should I take it in and have them look at it?
