I wouldn't call someone who continues to shape the future of talk radio irrelevent. The man has been at the top of his game for years, let's not let some silly christian morals get in the way of the truth.

He continues to redefine the media even today, you may not listen to him but rest be assured that lines/storyboards/skits/terms from his show are alive and well in the every day world.

Ever listen to ESPN announcers say "let the poison out"? Where do you think that came from? I'm sure doctor Sybian could tell you.

I think as Stern has matures, (or aged anyway) he has certainly become more relevant. He certainly seems to be able to get fantastic guests.....

ManDouche and his waterboarding BS.

I didn't actually hear about that, though I'll take your word that it got some press. Doubt it measured up to the tiger woods mistress beauty pageant press, or the Gabourey Sidibe controversy, (or even the Artie Lange death watch), but what do I know.

Since when did being culturally relevant become something to which we aspire? The cast members of Jersey Shore are culturally relevant. Doesn't mean I want to hear their opinions or emulate them in any way. .

I would like to know how many of those that are saying he is washed up and "lost his funny" have listened to him since he went to satellite.

Since he no longer has any of the big brother rules of the government to worry about he is 10X funnier.

Just one thing is when sal & Richard prank a local radio show that does a sort of on air classified ads called Tradio. Those calls could NEVER be played on terrestrial radio.

couldn't agree more. and Tradio calls are hilarious! and when they ordered pizza with the auto-tone, oh man i laugh in my car out loud

Howard Stern hasn't been relevant since the 90s. Early 90s.

about 2 weeks ago, Howard had this Amish girl on the show who was excommunicated from her family and community. She left the Amish world and did some porn or something.

Later that day her name was the #1 most searched on Google.

those of you who don't listen to the show, please don't speak because you really have no idea what you are talking about. howard stern is a genius and is funnier than ever now that he is uncensored.

I listened to him for years, when he was funny. I have tuned in occassionaly on satellite and he's not even close to where he once was. Deal with it.

In 2000, people were complaining he wasn't as funny as he was in 1990. In 1990 they were complaining he wasn't as funny as he was in 1985.

He's still funny.
