Hello all, I'm pulling a proposal together for F1 management and need good high quality F1 footage - better than youtube. Anyone able to help me out?
Bernard Ecclestone, courtesy of FOM. He'll want a 5 figure cheque for it. That - or I know Toyota did some HD filming some years back of testing etc. They've left now, but it must be out there somewhere, ditto other teams via their press depts.. No harm in asking them.
Not THAT high quality! TV quality is fine, but I just some kind of footage, it's going to be internal so won't be public-facing.

I am thinking that regardless of what you use, there will be copyright issues involved Woof, Woof - Dawg
You're correct, however it's a proposal TO the F1 management, internal, so will never be in the public domain.
Well there is the footage on the f1 website but that does come with legal blurb which would suggest that you would well be on dodgy ground if you used it. If you are doing a proposal then surely you would have access to internal videos anyway, can't you just go in early tomorrow and sort it out then. Especially as it seems you are just after some generic racing footage rather than anything specific it shouldn't take too long to do if you had the right source.
If I was still in London, yup, but I'm Bristol so unfortunately that's not an option. We're the label side, so that might take some time if I had more time
