I have a $50 Ralph Lauren Wallet.

Every year my grandma buys me a wallet and I just put in a pile because I prefer tri fold, and she always gets bifold.

My dad has a Coach wallet which is pretty nice. For years before that he had a Hartmann wallet which lasted forever.

Am I the only one that thinks spending more than about thirty dollars on a wallet is completely useless? There's no point, at all, as far as I can see. I can understand a little higher than that, even though I wouldn't pay it, but one, two, three hundred? That's ridiculous.

If I'm going to buy a $400 wallet, the damn thing better scan my irises to make sure I'm the only one to get into it.

I agree. What good is a wallet if after buying it, you don't have any money left to put in it

And refill itself, and clean my house, and write my masters thesis, and...

Well, as long as it refills itself, you can hire people to do the last two :D

Personally I am with a 20-30 buck leather wallet. Even if they last 2-3 years it still takes 6-10 years just to break even on a cost of 100 buck wallet.
Same here.

If I wore a suit to work everyday, I might splurge a little for a suit type wallet. But for my current needs, a simple and inspective bi- or tri-fold wallet will work fine.

come on I seen a guy who wears a suit almost every day pull a duct tape wallet out of his back pocket. I though it was great.

But those wallets are $300 that look like $20 wallets! Is there a point, really? Why not just buy a $20 wallet?

Personally, I don't really see the point either (I'm content with my $10 leather wallet I got at the swap-meet). The man asked for high quality, fashionable wallets, Ferragamo is high quality and classic and he'd probably never have to buy another wallet for the rest of his life, but that doesn't mean I'd ever buy one (not unless I start making a couple hundred dollars an hour sometime soon). Its really all about the material and the name. They use excellent quality calfskin for a lot of their wallets and they do an excellent job making them, but the name adds a nice chunk of price on to the wallet.

If you thought the wallets were expensive, take a look at their women's shoes and handbags, I know people who put less cash down as down-payments on their cars.

I would suggest that how a person dresses is related to their career field.

In that light, you would never see a duct tape wallet in some areas, where as in others it might be common.

In my case, I would probably not use a lawyer, financial advisor, doctor or dentist who has a duct tape wallet.

I guarantee this will be the best wallet you will ever buy if you mostly carry cards and a little bit of cash.

$48 at the store or you can find it for around $3X.xx at the outlet store.

I have owned two of them (Lost the First) and have the support of my brother and friend as owners of this wallet.

It usually have two card in each slot on the outside (4 total)that I use on a weekly basis ( License, Debit, Credit Card) and about another 6 inside (Library, Gift Card, Insurance, Blockbuster, etc).

I've always been a $30 wallet kind guy, but I have certainly seen some nice wallets, namely coach, that I really liked. If I ever pass a Coach store, i'll probably buy one, the wallet i'm using now is 4 years old.

I got a gift from my friend. It was wallet by Guy Laroche.
Unfortunately I've failed to find any image of it. But I would say that it's just perfect. Very convenient, enough space and very firm. I'm sure it will serve for another 10 years! :)
