What are you talking about? My spaces switch quickly on 120Hz
I mean I provided links to the issue, but here's another one that makes it more clear since there's a video with direct comparison:
The issue is not that the animation stutters, but that after switching you cannot interact with the apps on that space until after the animation is finished. And for some reason this animation takes longer the higher the display's refresh rate is.

Apple didn't do anything to fix it.. HOWEVER this software completely eliminates the animation and doesn't require SIP to be disabled.

You'll have to wait for them to make some updates for MacOS 27 support, though.

This one's been bugging me on my 16" M3 Max (internal 120Hz ProMotion) for a couple OS cycles. Try dropping the panel to 60Hz in Displays — the lag pretty much disappears, which lines up with the theory that the animation is framecount-bound rather than time-bound. Haven't put Golden Gate on the 16" yet (waiting for public beta) but if anyone has done a 120 vs 60 side-by-side on beta 1 that'd settle the 'fixed' question.

@BENCHPRESS yeah I knew about that app, I was just really hoping they fixed it in GG.
So you can confirm that it's not fixed on GG?

Yeah @benholt it's been proven. It gets even worse if you have a 240hz display 😂
