Hi

Since I fresh installed High Sierra every non prefixed 07 mobile number I try to send a iMessage to on my Mac won't deliver? It says its not recognised as a iMessage contact.

If I edit the contacts details to a prefixed +44 its fine! it never happened in Sierra?

The only work around at the moment I can find is editing every mobile number to a +44 so iMessage can work on my Mac but my iPhone is happy to send them to the 07 ones!

Whats happening?

Cheers guys

This happened to me, but all my numbers were prefixed with +44 already aside from 1.

This happened to me on Sierra a few months ago. I ended up editing all to +44.

Hello, has anyone found a fix for this? I've just installed my personal iCloud on a new work laptop and this has started. It only doesn't work on the new laptop, works fine on my personal. Both laptops are running 10.13.1.

The reason for the issue is the laptop doesn't know the UK location. Thats why it works with +44. I've tried everything to tell the laptop is UK :

Facetime Pref - UK
Time & Date - UK
Keyboard - UK
iCloud.com under user - UK

I've also deleted iCloud and installed. I've checked on my iPhone and the new laptop is on Text Messaging Forwarding too.

Please help!

Make sure the label against the number in your contacts app is iPhone and not just Mobile.

This doesnt change anything

Not using High Sierra, back on 10.12.6, but have you opened System Preferences on the new laptop and opened Language and Region and set it there?

Just a thought, as a guy some time ago couldn't get military time to work and changing this setting put it right.

Hello,

Yes I've done it in there too, still no luck.
