Hey guys,

I've been putting High Sierra on a couple of 2010 Mac Mini's that I have. I have a concern. When it boots, should there be a gray and black booting screen? I thought it was only suppose to be gray. Did I get a bad patched version? If I got a patched version, I didn't intend to.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Catalina is very dark
that looks okay for high sierra
Remember the monitor could be darker and not fully calibrated yet.

Thanks for the reply.

The reason I ask is because, in my limited experience, only newer MacOS's had the black boot screen instead of gray.
