High Sierra on a 2011 machine

Heya. I have a late 2011 17" MBP and I'm currently running Sierra but considering updating to High Sierra.

Just wondering if anyone out there is in the same situation and can give input on if performance was effected at all? I know sometimes updating can actually be slower on older machines, so trying to figure out if it's even worth doing or not.

Did you notice any performance differences when going from Sierra to High Sierra?

not at all, I have a ssd drive and 8gb of ram so it is lightning fast
