I'm trying to find the highest GeekBench score for a Mac Mini DualCore i7 2.7GHz.

What do you say, what is the mark to beat atm.?

----------

Not QuadCore i7 server, but the normal DualCore i7 build-to-order 2.7

Theres a thread about creating the fastest dual core mac mini on these forums. Have a look for it. There a lots of high benchmarks there. in the 9000-10000 range

:p

That's actually why I am asking, because those who have 9-10.000 scores have the server quad core model.

Am more wondering about what scores my dual core model can give - in OS X Lion by the way.
Windows 7 or Mountain Lion gives higher scores - will try them both out later on in comparison.

What I have found is that this one have 7807 points and can't really find any one higher than that with this type of machine...

That 7807 score is from mine :D

I got it after upgrading my RAM to the "vengeance" ddr3 1600MHz from corsair.

Before that I had 6 thousands something with the default 4gb.

Nice. I see in your sig that you have an Intel SSD also, not same model but still one of the good ones - have you run geekbench, novabench or diskspeed after installing that one?

Would love to compare some numbers later on.

Its on 24/7 so when I get a maintenance window approval from the CTO (wife), I can reboot in OSX Lion and run some benchmarks :D
Your windows numbers are really good, but would be interesting to see what it can pull off in os x
