I've used various Linux OSes for quite some time. One feature I very much like in all of them is the ability to copy something (a word, phrase, URL or whatever) to the clipboard just by highlighting it. No need to right-click and copy.
Then whatever was copied can be pasted wherever you want just by middle-clicking. No need to right-click and paste. So, copy/pasting in Linux is so much easier and convenient.
Is anything like this available on OS X?

I don't know of a similar feature, but if you use the keyboard shortcuts then you won't have to right-click at all.

OK, that sounds reasonable Thanks for the suggestion.
This thread touches on the same subject and it seems indeed that this feature is not available (yet) in OS X.
I'll go with the shortcuts.
