Hijacked Mac Internet Connection?

    You tell me. I have had this happen on several different websites, several different times, while trying to download files. Every time it tries to save a 8 character long random EXE file.

    It's intermittant. Usually the internet works for a long time then I'll get a missing page formatting problem or two along with a download interception. Strange things a'happenin

    Have you check what extensions are installed in Firefox?

    Only extra extension is Foxmarks. But it's all moot now. It has happened on another computer. Not the Mac's problem. ISP's.
