Hilarious pre-iPhone article from MacRumors

Can you imagine what a monstrosity a phone that has two batteries and a slide out keyboard would have looked like ~6 years ago? (this is back to when the Motorola RAZR was the thinnest phone available and smartphones were bricks)

Probably the only things he got right were "OS is supposed to be "cool"" and "maybe touch screen???" And the storage sizes, but he was way off on price.

An extra $200 for another 4GB of flash storage? That's twice as insane as Apple ever was, which is saying something. I wonder if those prices were assumed as with contract subsidies.
 
Man, I miss my 8GB iPhone 2G. I remember at the very end of its lifespan, I had to put it in the freezer to get things like wifi working again. :D And then it fell out of my pocket in a bucket of water. RIP. Considering my iPod third generation was $400, it wasn't actually that bad of a price.
