Hinge discoloration ?

I just have noticed a sort of discoloration on the back of the hinge.
I thought first it was dirt but it is located all over the hinge.
Could this be the hot air from the exhaust port ?

It's probably the oil and dirt in your hands from when you hold it. It doesn't look that bad. That being said, the plastic does not look very high-quality IMO.

Thanks for the reply. The weird thing is that it looks like a periodic pattern. Plus I cannot remove it.
That is why I am wondering if others have this too 😉

Yup. 100% sure. A good-quality plastic. But still, it should be made of a nicer material than plastic.
