I'm not sure if anyone has seen this, but there is a Photos dock space in the Yosemite beta guest account:

Also, the drive icons look different to my main account:

I wish they'd hurry up an give us a photos app!

Or atleast give us a list of features available in the photos app. I really hope they don't neglect amateur enthusiast photographers.

I wonder whether macs shipping with Yosemite have Iphotos pre-installed or will users be required to buy this? Would seem harsh not to include it.

It would seem harsh. They are still selling Aperture too - they should probably make that a free download.

It should atleast be heavily discounted. I feel sorry for anybody who buys the software unaware that it will be discontinued and no longer updated.

I wonder whether Apple will continue to sell Aperture for a while after the new Photos app or whether it will be removed from the App store straight away.

I have the same "?" Photos app in the dock! The first time I saw it yesterday after Yosemite Beta 3 clean install. Never seen this before.
