hint for using AV cable. remember to use the iPad charger.

Tried using my Apple Composite AV Cable with my ipad for the first time with no avail: no picture,......... till it dawned on me; it was charging through the low wattage charger that came with the cable.

Swapped it with the iPad charger and it worked a treat.
