Hints of HomePod With Screen Found in iOS 26

I imagine this would be AMAZING in nicer hotel rooms, Sync up local services, room service ordering, music listening, television speaker, temp log-in to your iCloud account to show email, reminders, etc. (that might be a security issue and stretch). The HotelPod - they could sell millions of those. HomePod with screen? Not as many. Just an idea.

Well just because you aren’t sure I guess they should just scrap it. I mean no one is buying Alexa’s or Google homes anymore… because you aren’t sure.

Gosh... I wish I had the power to scrap other companies' products.

But alas... I'm just an internet commentor who is sharing my opinion.

Good, the concepts are getting closer to something I'd buy. It needs a lot more AI.

If they really want this to hook up to the home and be a real hub (not just to their own products) they need to add a usb-c port. Then 3rd party people might hook up all sorts of things we can't imagine, like ssd drives or sensors. I'd get it to hook up my stereo system so that it can play lossless audio (other apple solutions fall short of this simple goal). Of course, the real benefit hinges on improving Siri.
