My rMBP is on El Cap. I was playing a video on VLC and while watching it I heard hissing and out of sync sound (from video) just for 2-3 seconds on my external speakers and then the audio became fine again. I thought that this has something to do with VLC. In the evening when I was listening to some mp3 songs on iTunes, again the same hissing and distorted sound occurred just for 2-3 seconds and then again it started playing fine for the rest of the playlist. Anybody got a similar issue? Any solution in mind? I can confirm that my external speakers are fine and they do not have any problem.
