Hitachi, LTD.'s new 8GB Mikey drive is shown with dominoes to demonstrate its smaller profile. Mikey is a new miniature hard drive from Hitachi that can store several thousand songs or pictures in 8 GB of storage.

How long before Apple gets criticized for missing the beat of the market, for poor pricing strategy, for unsatisfactory looks and functionality, with its as-yet-un-announced product, based on a hard drive that isn't even on the market yet? 😀

That thing is amazing...I understand micro-manufacturing techniques at some level, but when I see it in practice, I'm always just...wow. 🙂
