Hi all UK HIVE users. So the day has eventually arrived where Hive is now supporting HomeKit.

BUT... I have updated to the latest version of the app and when I follow the instructions I’m not able to see HomeKit as an item I can select from the ‘Install Devices’ menu.

Anyone have Hive and HomeKit working together following todays announcement?

Thanks

Only certain devices work. Which device are you talking about?

I have Hive Active Heating and from reading the release notes this is supported. Mind you since we are heading into much warmer weather I’m not really that concerned

Does yours control the water as well? Because that doesn’t work. And I think I read that the wired thermostat isn’t supported?

I have a wireless thermostat and the latest version of the Home Hub, setup is only 6 months old. Doesn’t control water.

Very odd!!

I’ve no idea sorry. Maybe restart all of your kit? What are you using as your HomeKit hub? Apple TV, HomePod or iPad?

Yes got it set up today, had to update the app but also had to install the app on my iPad (only had it on my phone) also to get it to work.
Added the quick action now a “Siri boost heating” working although not required probably until Septembe.

I'm new to home kit now that Hive has added support.

I'm trying to set up time schedules but this doesn't seem to be an option? As it stands i assume my routines and schedules from the Hive app will continue?

Thanks

Didn’t know that this had been released until I saw this thread so I went ahead and set it up.
The functionality is quite poor presumably because HomeKit doesn’t support it properly. No wonder companies don’t want to bother.
