Whenever I enter a new area after it loads, my game gets an error and closes. I can open the game again and it ended up saving so I am able to continue, but then again whenever I reach a save point it crashes. Can anyone help me?

Perhaps this is due to the fact that you have a MacBook and not a MacBook Pro? Is your GPU supported?
I found out you have to turn AutoSave off. Now it runs fine. Only problem I forgot to save it and died now all the way back at the beginning!! :'(
Its fine. Not nearly as bad as I would have thought. Im playing on 1200x800 resolution, all the graphics settings i left alone, but they were all on high except for the reflections and stuff. Other than that I am impressed, a few times it slows down for a few seconds, but when im in combat so far it has not let me down.

I have a macbook and have xp via bootcamp for hl2,etc. The gameplay is perfect with medium to high settings but I have the autosave issue as well. What can I do if I don't want to turn off autosave to stop it? Someone please help! 😀

problem solved, the game runs great now. Just need to remember to save!
