Does anyone know how to erase the history of when you're typing things in (sorry, I don't have a more technical term for this 😛 )? For example, in google, if I type in the letter a, it brings up (in a drop box) everything I've ever typed in the google box that begins with a. I'm anal-retentive and I find this very annoying. I've tried erasing my history, but that doesn't work. 😕

if you mean the Google bar (top, right) then there's an option at the bottom of the list (the down arrow next to the Q icon at the left of the search area) to clear recent searches.

Edit: Plus, if you select Safari->Reset Safari... everything goes bye bye.

Sorry, dont mean to be annoying but could you have thought of a better title for this thread. My internet is rather slow at the moment 🙁

I saddens me to hear you speak of such things, KT. 😉

Man, I just tried to make it work, and I can't.

Time to go to the genius bar and ask about "porn mode"

I wonder what full-of-crap answer I'll get this time... 😀

For the main navigation bar, I believe clearing the cache will remove the auto-complete for non-bookmarked sites, but you'd need to get rid of all your bookmarks to completely stop that.
