Hold for Pickup?

My iPhone 7 Plus is being delivered to my house tomorrow. Instead of waiting around for it to be delivered is it ok to change the delivery to Hold for Pickup? Will that screw things up? The reason I ask is because I would love to pick it up from UPS early and go to the Apple Store to try and snag an Apple Watch series 2. I figure that the earlier I get to the Apple Store the better my chances are.

I do that several days before the delivery date. I'm not sure how you'd fare doing it today. It might be best to call the hub directly rather than trying to do it online.
