I thought about that but it’d be hard to get good results. You’d need different categories, running LTE or not, paired with iPhone 8/X or later or 7 or earlier, and then somehow you’d have to get equal votes for each category as to whether the problem is present or not

Agreed, it would be a complicated poll for sure.

I do get "hold on" feedback constantly, both on Series 3 and Series 4.
Whether I'm at home or outside, and it's very frustrating that I had to use Siri on my phone instead.

That’s weird that it happens to some of us and not others. I wonder if it has to do with cellular connection. For those that don’t have the issue, are you hooked up with LTE?

Non LTE model, iPhone X within a few feet and a strong Wifi signal. "hold on..." 6 out of 10 times.

S4 5.1.2, 7+ 12.1.1: Siri only seems to work with LTE off or watch disconnected from phone.

Resetting the network settings made it worse, not iw no longer works in any combination of LTE/wifi/phone connection.

Sorry to hear that.
I have the LTE version too but don't have a plan active yet. My iPhone is usually connected to WiFi and so far I haven't had a problem with Siri failing or only very rarely. Probably the issue is related to LTE.

Nope. I and others in this thread have the “hold on” problem and we aren’t hooked up to LTE, WiFi only.

I had this problem with Series 2 and used to think it was just me being a non-native English speaker. Now Series 4 works a lot better and even finishes the task faster with the 64-bit chip. Never used Siri when on LTE on iPhone and just WiFI.
