Holiday Shopping Organization Application

I'm issuing a call for help:

I'm getting my holiday shopping plans made early this year so that I'm ahead of the game. However, I would really like not having to use a Numbers spreadsheet to organize all of the information (people I'm buying for, what I'm buying, etc.). I remember downloading an application that did this very well before, but I can't seem to remember what the name was.

If anyone has any good solutions, I'd be extremely thankful for your reply.
