holiday swap website

I was planning on going on holiday soon and i seem to remember a website that contained a searchable database of people willing to put you up for the night, or switch houses, or show each other round their countries and stuff like that. Did i just dream that or is it a real website somewhere and if so where?

There definitely is (or was) at least one site for that, though I'm having trouble remembering the name or finding it via Google. Still looking....

They exist... the New York Times has done articles on the phenomenon, and the movie The Holiday was based on that idea also....
