driving home from work I thought I'd test out the taptic navigation, so I raised my watch and asked Siri to give me directions home. Sure enough, up it came and it gave me distinctly different tap patterns for left and right.

It is absolutely freaking awesome!!

So how does it tell you to go left or right?
At what time?

Let's say your going 50mph and you're supposed to take the exit in 500 yards, how does it tell you to prepare to take that exact exit (if there's another exit before and after yours).

12 taps for right direction, 2x3 taps for left.

yeah like the guy above said, but the way I think of it is rhythmic taps means right, syncopated taps means left.

It will tap you when you are approaching the corner

sounds great. especially for cyclists and bikers where its impractical to look at a screen.
