Home button press lag on 7+with iOS 11?

is anyone experiencing a home button lag with iOS 11? When I press the home button while in an app it takes a little longer before it actually responds and goes back to the home screen. It didn’t have any lag that was noticeable before I seemed to have upgraded to iOS 11. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes there is a delay. People talk about it in every beta thread.

Happens on my 7+, 8+, and iPad Pro 10.5. Seems to be an iOS11 thing

iOS11 is a big lag, you’re not alone. I remember iOS10 being not great as well but then got better and better with updates. Hopefully they’ll do the same with 11

Anyway to post a video of the delay. My 8+ does not seem to lag when I hit the home button while in an app.

I've just switched from an iPhone 7 to an 8+ both running 11.0.1. There is a very noticeable delay on the 8+ but the 7 is fine. This issue seems quite inconsistent.

Strangely enough I've experienced the exact opposite. My 8 Plus seems to have no delay but my 7 has a little bit...not enough to really matter though.
