iPod touch Home Button

Just purchased a new i touch, the home button does not seem responsive enough, i have to press it more than once. Is this normal? Thankyou

Either press it harder or exchange it for a new one. "Home" works every time for me.

there should be any reason to press it really hard - take it to the Apple Store if you have one close by and send it back to where you purchased it for exchange or refund.

Mine is very EASY to press.

Does it go down easy or does it just take awhile to respond? In some apps it takes awhile for the app to close.

Please explain more thouroughly?
