This discussion may be starting to take over other threads, so I thought I'd make a dedicated thread for it.
It revolves around a theory that a raised bottom edge lip on a case will get in the way when performing gestures that begin at the Home Bar.
Gestures to return Home, bring up the App Multitasking, the left/right App Switcher & Reachability are the ones I'm wondering about.
There's also the combination of a case lip + screen protector (mainly thick glass type) that doesn't reach the edge of the bottom of the screen) which may also make things worse - picture sliding your finger from a raised case lip to a gap & then to the screen protector...that's something which could frustrate a user constantly performing the same gesture in one day.
Can people list their case & let others know if the lip &/or screen protector get in the way of performing these gestures & perhaps provide a failure rate out of 10 to get an idea of how they impact them. Thanks.
