    Networking noob:
My home internet service is so poor that i was looking to set up a 2nd home network for file sharing etc and for use with airplay as even simple streaming of music to appletv/ airport express stutters and doesn't play smoothly, and id like to be able to stream movies etc smoothly
I have a spare apple base station and airport express. i was just wondering if it was possible to do this ?

    Sorry.
A little confused about what you want to do. It sounds like internet streaming is the problem? A new local network can't fix that.
If you mean to download videos to a hard drive and then later locally stream them - well, your local network is already in place and can do that.
