Home Networking problems

I just bought a new mac book pro i5, this is my first mac and I know I'm going to love it but right now i'm getting frustrated with it.

My current problem is:

I have a wireless external hard drive that is connected to my cisco wifi box. I have my two desktops and other laptop connected to the the external hard drive through the network (no wires), but I can't figure out how to get this mac to connect to it.

Please Help!!!

Does your Cisco WiFi box support OSX shares? What model is it?

i don't know and it is a valet plus. i bought it about 8 months ago and it cost like $120 so I would hope so but you tell me.

How do you have a hard drive shared on the network? I don't see a USB port on that Cisco, flip it over for the model #.

Edit ahh wireless drive, ok what's the model number of the wireless drive?

it is not connected with a USB, it is connected with a ethernet cord. This is a high end external hard drive.

It's called a NAS, still need model number & make.

the external is a buffalo and the model #LS-Wx2.0TL/R1

First make sure it's running the latest firmware from Buffalo. Then read this.

PS you may have to enable Mac sharing. Check the manual.
