Home screen dots - how to I jump back to first screen?

my iPhone x has 16? different screens full of apps.

with my 7+ all i had to do if say I was on screen dot 12 was to double click it? and it would take me back to screen dot 1, the home of my most used apps.

Anyone figure out how to do this with the X?

I ran across that accidentally. Haha.

I find that multitasking & switching apps more tedious. I liked the double-tap on the home button. The only thing I don't care for so far.
