iOS 16 gave us a new lock screen, iOS 17 should focus on the home screen. It's time to remove app names from the home screen. I really hate this unnecessary text, it clutters my home screen, looks awful and keeps me awake every night thinking just how much better my life would be if it was gone. I can tell my apps apart by looking at their icons. Give me the option to remove text under every app Apple!

Agreed, have wanted this a long time. Would probably make me want to keep my sim in my iPhone longer for sure. Lack of customization is what kills it for me with iPhone.

I really hope the accessibility features discovered in the latest iOS betas are a hint we may finally be getting some flexibility coming in the next major release
