Meross seems to be the go to these days. Lots of praise on Reddit too.

I personally use the MyQ with HomeKit bridge. My LiftMaster MyQ garage openers have built in Wi-Fi so only needed to add the bridge and it’s been very reliable for me. Unfortunately not the case for many others.

I’d say go with Meross. That’s the consensus. If my current MyQ takes a crap, I’d be going with Meross too.

I have the Meross and it's been great.

Only two ways to purchase: 1. Amazon or 2. Meross website with shipping fulfilled by Amazon. Caution with the second option as the Meross fine print says it belongs to you once it ships, so if it's lost in transit, it's 100% your problem. Really? Given that the two options are the same price and shipped from the same place, just buy from Amazon knowing that delivery, satisfaction, and customer service are guaranteed.

There are two models... one for a single door (MSG100HK) and another for up to three doors (MSG200HK). They look completely different and the latter is the one I have with my two doors. The unit is small and in HomeKit it looks like a bridge with one accessory for each door. It connects directly to wifi, so no hub or subscription required, but you will need an Apple Home hub for remote access and automations. I already have a router in my garage so my signal is perfect.

These are very simple and universal devices that output a switch signal to trigger the door. If your opener has a switch connected to two wires, and if shorting these wires triggers the door opener, then you only need to connect the two wires from the Meross to the opener. This also means that if the wires from the Meross are not long enough to reach the door opener switch, you can simply connect them to the terminals on the door opener instead. There is also a cable that runs over to a magnet switch for door open/close status.

The 3-door unit only comes with enough sensors and wires for two doors, so if you want to add another, you just need the wiring kit for the third door.

During setup, you must disable your 5 Ghz wifi if it shares the same SSID as your 2.4 Ghz wifi. Once it's configured and added to HomeKit, you can turn your 5 Ghz wifi back on.

FWIW: my detailed Amazon review:
