HomeKit HomeKit hue Motion / LIFX

I have HomeKit with some LIFX lights.

If I get the hue motion sensor and connect via HomeKit, will I be able to automate those LIFX lights to turn on?

I really prefer LIFX lights.

I don't know about the sensor options, but you can set the Hue dimmer switches to turn LIFX lights on, so I would say probably, but via the Home rather than the Hue app.

i believe you would still need the hue hub to integrate to homekit, but if you have the hub then yes you can have it control any home kit device.

If Lifx is also HomeKit-compatible, then it must surely work.

Got an Elgato Eve Motion sensor with HomePod and LIFX lights... works like a charm.
