I have bungalow up north that I monitor via some HomeKit devices as well as some non-HomeKit cameras and motion detectors. I was at the house this weekend, and everything was fine. I also had no problem controlling the HK devices when I was out of the home doing errands, etc. Yesterday morning, connection to my HK devices became extremely intermittent. I could connect on my iPhone, then would be disconnected. Then connect, then disconnect. Sometimes I could connect on my computer, other times no. My connections don't last long--just enough to turn on/off lamps, etc. Then no connection. It's not a wifi issue because my wifi cameras and thermostat still work just fine (although one camera is now offline for some reason). My Apple TV hub is still connected. I can't figure out what's going on. Too bad I'm now 1,000 miles away. Could this be a bluetooth issue of some sort? I'd love to reboot my ATV but can figure out how to do tht remotely.

Edit to add that I haven't updated the ATV software in quite some time.

Thoughts?

try rebooting your router, it probably won't hurt anything, and you should be able to do it remotely.
just because others are working, doesn't rule out a wifi issue.

for bluetooth, it depends on what devices you have

No joy with the cable modem/wireless router reboot. I'm going to have someone reboot the ATV tomorrow and see if that works.

No joy on the ATV reboot either. I saw that automatic update was checked, so I assumed I had the current software. However when I went to do a full reset, it downloaded and installed two updates. Unfortunately, that as far as I got (I have a local guy doing the "hands-on" stuff via Facetime). I still need to log in again, but things aren't making sense yet.

Still couldn't get things going. I think I probably need to re-link all my devices. At this point, I think I'm going to transition away from HomeKit.
