What are you looking to do specifically?

For those that have these, how is the battery life? Can they be hardwired? Looking at the Ikea site but it only mentions battery and battery charger... So I am thinking not, but just wanted to confirm.
Ive had my 2 blinds since they released, and I've only had to charge one blind once. The other I don't use as much so haven't had to charge it yet. I can't remember when they were released. I think I bough them September 2019.

Oh... that is good to hear! The one that you have had to charge, do you use it daily by chance?

Yes the one I had to charge, I open and close the blinds about 5 times a day, as it is the blinds for my back French doors that lead out to the back garden.

the one I haven’t had to charge yet is a blind for a window, so only open and close it once a day.

Looking for roll down at 11 am IF light sensor reads more than x Lux for example.
I have hue motion sensor with temp and brightness sensor.

read somewhere that Ikea estimates batterylife around one year with one cycle a day.
i bought mine in September last year but have not used them much. Wintertime in Sweden does not comfort you with sunrays.

As for battery, it should be possible to replace it wire but it would require soldering and the correct power supply. Tearing appart the battery itself and use chassi and contacts would be my approach.

Thanks for the info regarding the battery... Was curious as I have been looking at the Lutron offering and they are rather expensive.

While I have not dove into Homekit yet, I have been using Lutron to control almost all of my automation with Alexa as the front end, I wonder can you use IFTTT to do what you are looking for it to do?

This finally just released in Canada today!

Gateway version 1.10.29
Blinds version 2.2.009
Remotes version 2.2.010
Repeaters version 2.2.005
