I understand that and I can speculate as well...

I’ve bought Apple refurbished before; came in non retail packaging. What I haven’t done is bought from macales.com. If these are Apple refurbished, I’m okay with that. If they’re not, I’m not interested.

I’m wondering if non retail packaging means these are brand new units similar to what’s at the Apple store. Apparently, Apple has non retail packaging units to swap out products at the Genius Bar.

I’m looking for clarification, that’s all.

I can't answer your question, but in looking at the listing, I see it says "1 Year OWC Fulfilled Limited Warranty," which means that it's not guaranteed by Apple. If there is an issue, you can only deal with the seller.

I would stay away.

Didn’t mean it to be rude, just thought it was pretty clear. I don’t believe it’s an apple
Refurb as I only believe those are sold by Apple also apllies to Apple white box replacements I don’t think they are available elsewhere. Could be on OWC rerub.
