Both the Swedes and the Finns are mostly joyful and grateful people. Since no one here gives thanks, I suspect that these cultures give MR a wide berth. Maybe because MR sometimes is a home to contempt, resentment and cheap jokes.

Just a thought.
I don’t know; I’m from Sweden and like MR quite a lot overall. :)

This about the Homepods getting Swedish just feels really long in the tooth. Almost felt like it would never happen. But better late than never I guess. I will sure try it out on the Homepod mini I have had for a year and some months now. 👍

Even Danes can’t understand Danish, do you seriously expect Siri to?
One of the reasons I don't ute Siri, it goes faster without her.
I’ve not signed up to foster a child, not even if it is Apple’s baby.
As far as I know Danes, Norwegians and other Swedes, we understand each other quite well. Siri however, I’ll pass.

There are plenty of both here so your cheap joke didn't work. I wouldn't mind having some kind of voice control in Finnish for my home automation and Siri really is the only one that comes even close in understanding anything, but as we don't have any devices to use to control anything we're screwed. I don't much care for the "sound quality" of Homepod or mini (I've under the English versions at one time or another and sent them back/sold away). They're better than those plasticky computer speakers, sure, but they're also much more expensive than those. And if you compare them to actual speakers they fall waaaaay short. Anyway, that's beside the point. Have the mini support Siri in Finnish and I'll buy one. Just to control crap, I've got better speakers for music and movies.

I've actually tried all the others (started with Sonos) but everything sucked with cumbersome operation since my household is Apple focused. So here almost everything works. If you are poor, you always have to fiddle around, that seems to be the cruel life. I'm happy to be able to do everything with Apple. Admittedly: Siri is always difficult or unsuitable when you want to call up tracks from different language countries at the same time. But since I have my playlists anyway, or fall back on those curated by Apple in high connoisseurship, I can currently still live with it. But I certainly wouldn't go back to my past because of that.

There are about 7000 different languages in the world and countless dialects.
Multilingual heterogeneity still poses a great challenge to any speech recognition system.
If you think about it calmly, you might become a little more understanding. And I will keep my fingers crossed that your language will finally be taken into account.

Last not least: My praise for Sweden and Finland is meant sincerely. Currently even more so (Ukraine).

Apple has also been testing Siri in Danish and Finnish with select HomePod mini users in recent months, so the HomePod mini may launch in Denmark and Finland eventually

the question is when does it come? 2027 yeah
Does only one person that working on it so they can take some time Denmark is a small country?

On Apple TV I can not use dictation in danish only English

HomeKit is a crap doesn’t work at all because I can use the danis language. And when I try to talk to Siri in English, I don’t understand you please try again.
