Hello,

Since upgrading to new iOS software for my phone and homepod I have not been able to add my Lifx Z lights to Home app.

Before the update things works great. When I got the lights I was able to connect them with no issues.

However, after the update I reset everything because I couldn't get the multi-user feature to work on the homepod. Starting from scratch got the multi-user feature to work but now I cannot add the light strip as an accessory. I'm still able to control lights through the Lifx app, though.

Has anyone experienced this with their Lifx lights?

thanks

Restore the Lifx strip in the Lifx app and then re-add it. I don't have Lifx products, but I had something similiar happen with other products.

Okay, I found a thread on Reddit and the post suggested to reset the lights and use the Home App to add light to network and then go to Lifx app to complete setup.

The post also said to immediately manually enter the Homekit code when prompted, as this is where there appears to be a bug. The post stressed the importance of this step.

So this seemed to mostly work for me. I was able to add the Lifx Z as an accessory in the Home App first and then I switched to the Lifx App to complete setup.

However, Siri does not recognize the lights even though they are an accessory in the Home App. I can control the lights through the app but no voice command.
