    Hello guys,

can someone please explain to me why is homepod firmware leaking all the stuff? How is homepod software related to iPhone (unreleased one)?
I just don't understand why this thing has all the information about the unreleased product when its not even remotely related.
Can someone elaborate what I'm missing, please?

iOS I get, macOS I get but Homepod firmware? That I don't get at all

"The HomePod firmware contains hints about future iOS 11 functionality and the iPhone 8 because the HomePod runs a full version of iOS. The current version of iOS 11 in testing has been stripped of references to unreleased features, but Apple neglected to make the same edits to the HomePod firmware, allowing enterprising developers to recover information.

Oh I see. I thought it wasn't on full iOS 11. In that case it kinda make sense.
Also, if all those leaks are correct then it will be one ****** phone. (no touchID = no buy :) )
