How does guest access work for HomePod?

If I'm not home (and my iPhone isn't) Can an android user still give commands (i.e. turn off the lights) or is specifically tied to iOS users?

If there's a guest without a smartphone, can they still give Siri commands (when I'm not home)

Thanks!

Though I believe “personalised requests” (like adding reminders to lists), needs your iPhone on the same WiFi network?

Hmmmmmmmmm
- I have a shared shopping list with my wife
- If I’m out of the house, can she add things to the shopping list (which she is subscribed to on her phone), or not because my device (used to setup the HomePods)

She won't be able to while you're out of the house. What's worse is that she won't be able to yell out "hey siri" to add anything to any of her lists either (within earshot of the speaker).
