Now that 11.4 is out can you use 2x Homepod for home cinema? Not just Apple TV.

I have a Samsung TV, PS4 Pro & Sky Q.

Yes according to the release notes. You'll need to update the IPhone/iPad and HomePods to 11.4 and pair them in the Home app.

You didn’t read the original post. The OP wants to use stereo HomePods for non-Apple devices. The answer to OP is unfortunately no, stereo homepods will not work with your other devices.

Oops, my bad. Thanks for the correction! Lewisd25 is right, HomePod only works with iOS devices right now.

When have you last experienced that a software update adds some new hardware connections?

HomePod is not designed to work with other electronics, just with Apple Airplay things.

No. Plus, you are only going to get stereo anyway so would be better off with a proper surround setup for home cinema.
