We'd really like to get some HomePods for the home and office. I currently live in Sweden and, unfortunately, Apple thinks we don't deserve HomePods until some time in the future.

Even if I got a HomePod from the UK on a business trip, it seems like the power cable would be a kind of a problem…

Is there a timeline for HomePods with a CEE 7/4 compatible plug (a.k.a. “Schuko” or Type F)?

From someone who has recently moved from the UK to the Netherlands all you really need to do is buy adaptors. There are tonnes available on Amazon and other stores.

I am travelling to the US tomorrow and am looking to pick up a home pod whilst over there, will be doing the exact same thing as im doing with the UK stuff.

Im sure you could even go as far as to cut the plug off the end and wire in a Schuko plug, however im not sure what you would do with the ground wire (Im no electrician)

It's available to buy from Alzashop.com and they ship to the entire EU. I asked them what kind of power plug it comes with and they said "The HomePod comes with the standard EU two-pin plug. If you are buying from the UK, you will be offered an adapter at check-out."

Anyway, mine has been shipped and arrives on Thursday and then I'll know for sure :)

I just checked Alza, (they are in Czech Republic as I am)they are shipping the U.K. version with a euro plug adapter, no thanks

Yep, HomePods have now been available in Germany for a few weeks. We picked up a few HomePods on a recent visit to Berlin. Obviously they have the proper Schuko plugs.
