Hi.

I need some help. After the latest update for HomePod mini, it stopped working with AirPlay and Personal Requests. The following message is shown. Nothing has changed in my network, and I’ve tried hard resetting the HomePod and my network settings on my phone. The HomePod claims I have a 802.1X network, but I do not (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT209643)
 
I don't have a solution, but I can confirm that HomePod minis (and AirPlay and Personal Requests) do work on 802.1X networks, because I have such a network.
 
I don’t have a solution either I was able to temporarily fix the problem when I used my 2.5 Internet rather than 5.0 Internet but then the HomePod went right back to not working again. I think what we’re going to need is we’re going to need an update from Apple to fix either the software or the firmware issue
